Ladies Open Day 2022

Dear Christine
On behalf of the District Management Committee, I am writing to thank you for a fabulous day out at the Maleny Women’s Open Day and for hosting round 2 of Race to the Coast. It was great to arrive to such a warm welcome and a lovely morning tea. Please thank all who contributed to the very generous catering, which was also enjoyed as a special treat after lunch. And speaking of lunch, the burgers were delicious and served with grace and speed!
You and your team were incredibly efficient in getting the field organised and out in a timely manner. A huge thank you to those who were on hand to help out with the very smooth running of the registrations and also to those who were there to field questions from the players. We would also like you to extend our thanks to the many on course volunteers on the day. They were very helpful in spotting, bunker raking and general morale boosting, which was much appreciated by those of us who found ourselves in less than favourable positions.
Please also thank your pro shop and the many others who contributed to the fabulous prizes. The winning circle was huge and well rewarded, and those who missed out on a golf prize were mostly compensated by winning something in the raffle. The prizes were gorgeous and very appropriate with Easter on our doorstep. Please thank your sponsors and members for their generosity.
Your course is a gem and was presented beautifully. Your ground staff and volunteers are to be congratulated for taking the time to prepare it so well for us. Today was a day to remember at Maleny and you may be assured you and your team showcased your course, club, members and staff at their very best.
As a District it is our hope your efforts in putting on such a great event will be rewarded, with many of those who played your course for the first time today returning for a game at Maleny with friends and family.
